Working with Jenny at ZenMindPod was a highly constructive and useful experience; having someone to talk to (without consequence) to work through and pinpoint the root cause for my mental health crisis was a great relief, and a large weight off my shoulders. Over the course of my first few sessions, it became easier to talk and the pressure I had been unduly putting on myself slowly eased. 

My anxiety became easier to manage, and with good use of the techniques and resources Jenny taught me, my sleeping patterns slowly became more regular and healthy. I was also happier and less anxious about social events and my apetite, which had been largely absent for at least a year, has begun to return.

Tracking all my symptoms and figuring out, and accepting, why exactly I was feeling how I was has been vital step toward my recovery, and the tools I've learnt to help cope with it and move forwards constructively have been invaluable. 

It's something I would reccomend to anyone who feels they are struggling with symptoms of anxiety or depression; learning how to be kind to yourself is one of the most important things to leading a healthier and more balanced life.

The sessions I had with you have helped no end. I'm a lot more patient with those around me, especially my partner, and I feel I have a lot more understanding of her needs. My anger, such as I had has disappeared. So, I feel your one to one sessions are of great value to people who are struggling with the trials of life.

Jenny strived to connect with me on a spiritual level. The room that we talked in was full of lots of calming objects such as crystals, incense, colourful lighting and so many other things. I immediately felt very relaxed in her presence (especially as a newcomer to therapy). Would thoroughly recommend.

I consulted Jenny following an episode of anxiety and depression . She provided a safe and comfortable space and taught me exercises and techniques which I’m sure I can call on in future should the need arise.

Jenny ran 2 mindfulness and wellbeing sessions at our centre for an education and employment support group, Refresh which is aimed at 16-26 year olds currently not in education or employment.

At the time of the sessions, the group consisted of 7 young people, 6 male and 1 female, all of whom had never tried meditation or similar techniques to calm and soothe their minds.   None of the participants knew what to expect and most were nervous.

Jenny's calm and professional manner put them all at their ease and the layout of the room sparked interest in participants and staff alike.

All but one of the participants came back for the 2nd session which speaks volumes for the quality of the session and provider.  After the 2nd session, participants were asked to complete feedback forms, here are some snippits of what they said:-

"It really helped me to relax my body and gave me energy."

"Helped me to calm my body and mind which in turned soothed my breathing as I had been feeling a bit wheezy earlier."

"I felt so much more relaxed.  Not something I would have thought to try but I am glad I did.  thanks!".

I went to ZenMINDpod having never sought any sort of help before, as it turned out meeting and talking to Jenny who in return her warm understanding and advice has turned things around for me, I am of the age where men typically do not open up, however now after a couple of sessions, guidance and few simple breathing exercises has got me back on track, think many of us harbour up concerns and need to let out these feelings and would certainly recommend ZenMINDpod to anyone.

My daughter has been seeing Jenny over the last 6 weeks. We hadn’t realised just how stressed and anxious she had become and this resulted in her having to suspend her 3 year of University shortly before her final exams. Jenny’s calm, practical help has helped her address issues going back some years. Whilst she still has some way to go I think that she now has the tools to address her issues as they manifest and knows when to seek help.

If you have a child that is suffering from study stress and exam panic, do contact Jenny. If we had met her when our daughter started her A level studies I think the last 5 years of our daughter’s life would have been much happier. The methods and tools that Jenny has provided our daughter with are genuine “life skills” and will only become more valuable in time.

I've suffered from depression for years which in recent years has turned into anxiety. I was recommended Jenny by the group I attended. Jenny’s treatment was calming, thorough and she really listened. Jenny explained why my anxiety symptoms arose, what pressures in my life I was letting in and gave me very effective tools to use in my path towards mental health. She is honest, very professional and if you feel worried, confused or just feeling too down to talk, I promise Jenny will be able to help you lift, smile and calm down.

She followed me up in email with a care plan, which I still refer to now when I feel lost. I highly recommend her and hope to see her again soon.

Jenny has been working individually with some chaps from “Man Down” (a men’s mental health charity) dealing with a variety of issues including PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression etc.

I can honestly say that Jenny has been very important in helping  the men change the direction of their lives in a positive and more naturally flowing direction.

I can personally testify that you can keep noticing positive changes months later.

Jenny has also been practicing group mindfulness, the sessions have been well presented and delightfully delivered, leaving the group  with a profound sense of well-being and a gentle connection with the nature of one’s own body .

I always came away from Jenny’s sessions feeling much better and calmer than I did before. A session of untangling mental strings definitely helped keep me afloat through my final year of University and the Pandemic.
