Mindfulness

Mindfulness is for those who are experiencing low-mood, anxiety or stress / distress and other chronic difficulties.​The focus will be on orientation towards positive well-being, self-care and a greater sense of calm and balance to develop wellness. ​The emphasis will be to encourage individuals to develop their own strategies for sustaining personal resilience, strengths and tools to stress management through Mindfulness.​

Mindfulness practice involves cultivating a sense of curiosity, interest and openness to moment-by-moment experience and a sense of kindness and gentleness towards oneself and others.

Focus on  present moment awareness.​ Skills for supporting improved mental health, wellness and improved performance through this guided programme. ​Informing participants of the benefits of Mindfulness, teaching breathe and how to unwind, to feel grounded and develop strategies to feel more in control. ​ZenMINDpod is a supportive space, offering guidance and encouragement in a qualitative and quantitative evidence base Mindful manner.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommends Mindfulness as a way to prevent depression in people who have had 3 or more bouts of depression in the past.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Mindfulness is the practice of being aware in every possible moment, while keeping a non-judgmental outlook and at the same time observing your own bodily and emotional responses.

Research shows that Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy is enormously empowering for patients with ongoing anxiety, panic disorder and repeated bouts of depression.

When used with practice, this therapy can alter ones mindset, and the concept, of changing our outlook and mood. After effective mentoring it can empower positive change, self management tool to reduce anxiety and stress.

The UK National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) has endorsed Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy as a powerful and effective treatment for intervening and prevention of depression relapse. When introduced into our daily life this technique can have a profoundly positive impact on the symptons of clinically depression and learning these skills can help to reduce your depressive symptons considerably and significantly reduce the chance of the depression returning.
